Reforestation is about more than just removing carbon from the atmosphere. It’s also an opportunity to restore biodiversity, feed people, and create sustainable livelihoods. We call this Regenerative Agroforestry.
How It Works
We provide local farmers with start-up capital and financial incentives to convert deforested land into regenerative forests. Each acre of reforested land boosts local income, produces food, restores biodiversity, and removes CO2 from the atmosphere. This is a Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) project with both social and ecological benefits.
Regenerative Agroforestry
TMA provides:
- Seedlings, irrigation equipment & training.
- Short-term cash injection until tree crops generate income.
- Access to premium markets.
Farmers plant a mix of:
Native shade trees for CO2 removal and biodiversity.
Banana, plantain, and fruit trees for local food security.
Heirloom cacao trees for a sustainable revenue stream.

Scaling From Pilot Project to Global Model

- Over the next 5 years we aim to support 500 families and reforest 1,000 acres.
- This model can be replicated in other endangered ecosystems throughout the world.
